The 2026 Conference on Localization of Technical Equipment for the Energy and Chemical Industry took place recently in Qingdao, Shandong province. Hosted by the China Association of Plant Engineering, the conference featured an exhibition of innovative achievements in the localization of technical equipment for the energy and chemical industry. It also featured the official release of the 2026 Recommended Catalog of Localized Innovative Technology Equipment for the Energy and Chemical Industry. NGC Group’s subsidiary, Nanjing High Speed & Accurate Gear (Group) Co., Ltd., had three pieces of its core equipment selected for the catalog, thanks to its strong technical innovation capabilities. This achievement reflects the industry’s high recognition of NGC’s technological breakthroughs and innovative accomplishments in the localization of energy and chemical equipment.

As one of the core products selected, the Reactor Agitator Gearbox delivers outstanding performance in conveying polymer melt at high temperatures and pressures. Notably, it has achieved a key breakthrough in localization within the PETG specialty polyester reactor drive field, precisely aligning with China’s large-scale development demands for the chemical industry.

The integrated gearbox for air compressors boasts fully independent intellectual property rights, and offers exceptional technological independence and supply chain security. At the same time, the product also delivers significant advantages in terms of energy efficiency, reliability, and ease of maintenance. Recognized for its outstanding technological value, this product has also won the Jiangsu Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award, establishing itself as a flagship product in the field of domestically produced air separation compression equipment.

High-Torque Co-Rotating Parallel Twin-Screw Extruder Gearbox
The high-torque co-rotating parallel twin-screw extruder gearbox focuses on the core demands of the chemical industry—high torque, high speed, and efficient power transmission. The R&D team achieved breakthroughs in specialized high-performance alloy steel heat treatment technology, ultra-wide gear transmission technology, and complex gear tooth profile modification technology. The product achieves a specific torque of up to 16 Nm/cm³, fully satisfying the transmission requirements of large-scale extrusion pelletizers used in domestic ethylene plants with annual capacities of several hundred thousand tons. This has laid a solid foundation for the localized application of large-scale equipment in the petrochemical and related industries.

It is worth noting that the three gearbox products selected all adhere to the concept of green development, offering core advantages such as high efficiency, energy savings, and low-carbon operation.
