In December 2025, China’s first 30MW-class pure hydrogen gas turbine hydrogen energy storage demonstration project successfully generated power in Otog Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia. This milestone achievement signifies a major national breakthrough in the fields of hydrogen energy storage and gas turbine technology, marking China’s entry into the world’s top tier of this technological domain.

As a key player in the supply chain, NGC participated in this key project by supplying its TG series of high-speed gearboxes.
