Embracing the Future with Quality: NGC Group Makes a Strong Appearance at China Wind Power 2025

From October 20 to 22, the China Wind Power exhibition kicked off with a theme of "Promoting Global Energy Transition and Working Together for Sustainable Development". NGC Group once again joined numerous global wind energy enterprises to explore new drive forces and approaches for the steady and long-term development of the industry.

Guided by the goal of "high-quality wind energy," NGC injects multi-dimensional impetus into the sustainable development of the global wind energy industry through a combination of "continuous technological innovation and overall quality enhancement across the supply chain."

At this exhibition, NGC showcased a range of products, including:

New-Generation NGCWinGear Series 10MW Main Gearboxes

This product features an integrated sliding bearing design at the front end (blade side). It provides outstanding torque density, transmission efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, and has been widely recognized by wind turbine manufacturers, becoming the model of choice for large-scale wind energy facilities in deserts and other remote regions. Incorporating multiple advanced technologies, including gear parameter optimization, second-generation sliding bearings, and an enhanced reliability design, it achieves a torque density of 250-270+ Nm/kg, significantly improving full-lifecycle reliability and providing customers with enhanced safety and operational stability. As of now, over 7,000 units of this series of sliding bearing gearboxes have been delivered, with more than 5,000 units already in stable operation across numerous wind farms.

GearSight Health Monitoring System

The GearSight health monitoring system, independently developed by NGC, is a new-generation intelligent operation and maintenance platform that integrates technologies from multiple fields. Integrating advanced sensing technology with cloud computing capabilities, it establishes an intelligent monitoring system that covers the entire lifecycle of mechanical transmission chains. The system is able to monitor equipment operating status in real-time, accurately capturing early fault characteristics, and forming a complete closed-loop that covers "health assessment - intelligent warning - diagnostic operation and maintenance." In this way, the system helps users reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Yaw and Pitch Gearboxes

The latest yaw and pitch gearboxes launched by the company feature a highly modular and integrated design, offering outstanding reliability, strong load-bearing capacity, compact size, and light weight. With their flexible speed ratios and interface options, as well as good environmental adaptability, they can be deployed across various scenarios including onshore, offshore, plateau, high-temperature, and low-temperature environments, providing an optimized yaw and pitch drive solution for the industry.

Vertical Axis Wind Turbine Speed-Increasing Power Generation Assemblies

Targeting the low-wind market, NGC's vertical axis wind turbine speed-increasing power generation assemblies feature a new structural patent. The product adopts an integrated design of "speed-increasing gearbox below + hollow-shaft generator above," with non-contact labyrinth seals located above the lubricating oil, enabling maintenance-free operation without any oil leakage throughout its service life. Its transmission system provides large speed ratios and high efficiency through a "first-stage NW double-planet + second-stage NGW planet" design. The generator and gearbox share a common housing, while the generator shaft integrates the sun gear, further enhancing integration, compactness, and transmission efficiency while reducing starting torque. The introduction of a new laser welding process for double-planet gears during production also effectively reduces batch manufacturing costs, minimizes the weight, and optimizes structural dimensions.

Expanding Energy Layout: Photovoltaic and Solar Thermal Components

In addition to wind energy products, NGC also launched a number of core components for photovoltaic and solar thermal power generation at this exhibition, further expanding its energy equipment offering:

Photovoltaic Products

Featuring a single-enveloping toroidal worm gear pair design, these products provide high-power transmission and reverse self-locking, making them suitable for high-frequency wind and torsion applications, while guaranteeing long-term safety, good load-bearing capacity, high corrosion resistance, strong environmental adaptability, multi-layer sealing protection, low maintenance, and high reliability. In this way, the products fully meet the operational requirements of photovoltaic power plants.

Solar Thermal Products

Adopting a double-lead worm gear and worm shaft pair structure, these products offer high transmission accuracy and adjustable backlash, meeting full-lifecycle operating requirements and ensuring efficient operation of thermal solar systems.
