Continuous communication, attentive transmission

Recently, the authoritative global wind power periodical, Windpower Monthly, released its 2022 selection for “Best Global Wind Power Generator Unit - Transmission Chain”. The Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NGC) won the gold award for best transmission chain with its highly competitive 16-18MW fully integrated medium-speed transmission gearbox.

This gearbox is a new model developed in cooperation with a domestic wind power unit manufacturer. The platform has the potential for further expansion up to 20MW.

The gearbox torque density goes up to 200Nm/kg, and the company plans to develop a 20MW transmission system between 2023 and 2025. Products with even higher power ratings are expected by 2026.
