The 10th National Conference on Practical Technologies and Equipment for Nonferrous Metals Mining, Dressing, and Tailings, along with the 5th Conference on Intelligent, Digital, and Ecological Mining and Dressing Practical Technology and Equipment, was opened in Kunming City on April 10th. This year's conference, themed "Building Intelligent Mines and Boosting New-Quality Productivity in Mining," attracted participants from mining enterprises, research institutions, and equipment manufacturers across the country. The system can fully meet the operational requirements of tower mills. Compared to the original asynchronous drive system, the new system improves drive efficiency by 8%, reduces starting current by 50%, lowers required installation height by 3.2 meters, and cuts maintenance frequency by 60%. It can also support variable-speed driving to enhance grinding efficiency.
