NGC center driving planetary gearbox for cement mill was exported to Pakistan

A unit of 2000KW center driving planetary gearbox for cement mill designed by NGC was delivered to the Pakistani customer. The first gearbox of this type powered at 1400KW was put into use and ran in good condition since 2009 in Haerbin Yatai Cement Factory. Meanwhile, it gained national utility model patent on 27 October, 2010.

In the current market, the gearboxes for cement industry are normally designed to 2-stage or 3-stage parallel shaft transmission structures, and the equal load of the power split is realized by the flexible shaft, which is large and with small range of speed ratio. For those cement gearboxes which need big speed ratio and large power, the tooth width of parallel gear pair and the center distance will be designed very big, and the outline dimension will go up accordingly, therefore, it will interfere the installation space for other equipments.

However, the NGC center driving planetary gearbox is designed with bigger speed ratio and multi-planetary power split structure, which improve the output torque of the gearbox significantly, and meanwhile reduce the weight, volume and cost.With the advanced technology level and consumer demands, this type of gearbox will open up a wide market in the world.
