From June 19 to 21, the 2025 Offshore Wind Conference was held in Dalian, Liaoning Province. The event served as a key platform for in-depth discussions on a variety of topics, including the development of Liaoning’s offshore wind energy industrial cluster, supply chain cooperation, technological innovations in deep-sea and far-shore wind energy, and diversified energy solutions - all aimed at promoting sustainable growth in the offshore wind energy industry.
NGC was honored to attend the conference, where Product Design Manager Zhang Bo from the company’s R&D Center delivered a keynote speech entitled "Gearbox Innovation: Empowering High-Quality Development of Offshore Wind Energy." In response to the current trends for higher megawatt capacities and deep-sea and far-shore applications, NGC has developed a series of advanced gearbox solutions to meet stringent demands under various operating conditions. NGC's key breakthrough in the development of sliding bearings also garnered widespread interest at the conference.
