Women's Day in the Year of the Horse | Stitching Beauty with Fingertips, Pampering Fans with Youthful Grace ——NGC Heartwarming Hosts Pony Leather Craft DIY Event

To celebrate the 115th International Women's Day and enrich the spiritual and cultural life of female employees, the "Pampering Goddesses · Pony Leather DIY" themed welfare event was held on the afternoon of March 6th in the Yunjin Hall of the Mhub by MGM. Conveying the Group's care and warmth, the event was meticulously organized by the Corporate Management Department, and involved more than 70 female employees from various business divisions and departments. Here they were able to experience the beauty of craftsmanship through fingertip creations, celebrate their exclusive festival with laughter and joy, and unlock a unique sense of ritual for the Women's Day in the Year of the Horse.

This event featured a limited edition Year of the Horse theme, with the main activity being the beloved Hermès-style pony leather crafting workshop. This was a delicate blend of exquisite aesthetics and the auspicious ideals of the Year of the Horse—"smoothness, well-being, and courageous progress." The design not only aligned perfectly with the festive atmosphere, but also conveyed the group's heartfelt blessings to its female employees. To ensure the event ran smoothly and that all participants had a pleasant experience, the Group's Enterprise Management Department had everything prepared in advance. The organizers paid attention to every detail, from venue layout and material procurement to process coordination and attentive service. The venue was warm and elegant, featuring a soothing color palette paired with soft lighting. On the tables, neatly arranged DIY packages and tool kits were set out, while the adjacent break area displayed a selection of exquisite cakes and beverages. Thoughtfully prepared mystery gifts were also lined up, reflecting the organizers' dedication to every little detail.

At the beginning of the event, members of the Corporate Management Department extended festive greetings to the female employees present, expressing gratitude for their hard work and dedication in their respective roles over the years. They then provided a detailed explanation of the DIY craft session, including key precautions and techniques for making the ponies. A professional crafting instructor was also invited to offer on-site guidance, ensuring that even those with no prior experience could easily get started and complete their own creations.

As the event officially kicked off, over 70 female employees quickly immersed themselves in hands-on crafting, the entire venue enveloped in a warm, creative glow. Everyone followed the steps meticulously, advancing through each stage in an orderly manner: First, they carefully opened the handmade material packs, laying out and organizing each item—the pony’s leather fabric, the cotton required for the stuffing, needle and thread, and a selection of decorative accessories. Then, following the instructor’s lead, they aligned two pieces of leather fabric and carefully stitched them together with needle and thread, from the head to the body, and from the ears to the tail. Every stitch was made with great care. Occasionally, when encountering issues like uneven stitching or difficulty attaching the accessories, they sought advice from the instructor or exchanged tips to help each other out. After sewing the pony’s body together, they then carefully stuffed it with cotton, pressing down gently as they tried to ensure a full and rounded shape while maintaining its aesthetic appearance. Finally, they attached decorative accessories such as the eyes and nose, then tied a delicate little bow with a ribbon, adding a touch of liveliness to the finished creation.

During the creative process, laughter and cheerful conversations filled the air. Some participants were fully absorbed in their work, stitching with intense concentration and a look of pure dedication; others chatted about interesting moments at work and the beauty of life while exchanging handcraft tips, creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Some picked up their phones to capture the creative moments or photograph the semi-finished products, sharing the joy of hands-on creation. The crafting instructor moved through the gathering, patiently answering questions and guiding everyone on how best to adjust stitches and refine shapes, offering timely assistance to those encountering difficulties to ensure every participant could complete their own handmade pony. Meanwhile, the organizers thoughtfully provided a tea break area, allowing everyone to savor delicate pastries and drinks during their creative pauses; here people could relax and recharge, briefly setting aside the busyness of work to enjoy an exclusive moment of leisure.

After nearly two hours of meticulous crafting, one by one, these exquisite and adorable Hermès-inspired ponies, each with its own unique shape, were completed. Some were round and cute, others lively and playful. Each pony carried the ingenuity and heartfelt intentions of our female employees, as well as their heartfelt hopes for the Year of the Horse. At the end of the event, everyone posed for a group photo with the ponies they had made, their faces beaming with happiness, capturing this warm, wonderful moment. The organizers had also prepared carefully chosen mystery gifts for every female participant, adding an extra layer of surprise. This double delight made everyone appreciate the profound care and warmth of the company.

After the event, the participants eagerly shared their experiences, their words filled with a sense of fulfillment and joy. "We are truly grateful to the company and the Enterprise Management Department for organizing this event. Not only did it allow us to celebrate a meaningful and special Women's Day, but we also learned some useful handcrafting skills. Seeing the little pony I sewed with my own hands gives me a great sense of achievement. Moreover, making a pony in the Year of the Horse carries such beautiful symbolism. We hope the new year brings grace, well-being, and continuous improvement," one of the colleagues said.

The International Women's Day handmade DIY event was a specific initiative by the Group's Corporate Management Department to put its employee care philosophy into practice and enrich the cultural life of the company. It also served as an expression of gratitude and respect for the hard work and dedication of all female employees. More than 70 members of staff experienced the beauty of craftsmanship through a hands-on activity, strengthening the power of women through interaction and communication. This not only eased work pressure and enhanced collegial bonds, but also greatly increased everyone's sense of belonging and happiness. Looking ahead, the Corporate Management Department will continue to base its efforts on employee needs, organizing a wider variety of thoughtful and heartwarming cultural activities. The goal is to continuously enrich the company’s corporate culture, unite the driving force of all employees, and support the Group's high-quality development, ensuring that every employee can grow, feel the warmth, and blossom within the Group's big family.
