NGC Celebrate the Success of the Joint Literature and Art Performance for PRC’s 60th Anniversary and the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of NGC

On the evening of Sep 26th, the Joint Literature and Art Performance for the 60th Anniversary of PRC and the 40th Anniversary of NGC was held in Nanjing Great Hall of the People.

The group leaders gather with nearly 2400 NGC employees in the Hall in a cheerful atmosphere to celebrate the festival. Everybody enjoyed this excellent performance with cheerful spirits. Mr. Hu Yueming, Chairman and General Manager of the group delivered a passionate speech expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the concern, support and devotion of all leaders, NGC employees and their families during the past four decades: “forty years’ of achievements represents the past, we still have to continue to persist, continue to work hard to make another innovative, more beautiful forty years”.

This celebration is devoted to the celebration of the 60th anniversary of PRC and the 40th anniversary of NGC. The chorus competition was held with the theme of memorable old Chinese melodies, to listen and feel those who touched our hearts. The seven chorus programs were split between the group and its six subsidiaries. The familiar melodies brought the audience and singers back to the old days, reminding them to inherit good tradition from the elder generations and pursue a nicer life and career. Also, there were two original programs which were different because the performance was represented by young people for a happy poem recital. For NGC, excellent singers presented a medley, actors and actresses from the Frontline Art Troupe, the Provincial Opera Theater and representatives from families of NGC employees also contributed to the performance with wonderful music, dancing and singing.

The seven competing teams with the most outstanding performance were granted prizes: Best Performance was awarded to the High Speed Company, Best Image was awarded to the Ningkai Company, Best Singing Performance was awarded to Gaote company, Best Vitality was awarded to the Ninghongjian Company, Best Creativity was awarded to the Marine Company, Best Lay Out was awarded to the High Accurate Company, and the Best Organization was awarded to the headquarters.

During the past several months, every subsidiary put in great effort for this performance, almost one thousand actors tirelessly rehearsed over and over in their spare time, not letting it affect the premise of their jobs, nor give up holidays to give such a brilliant performance. They offered their most sincere wishes for the anniversary of our motherland and our company, expressing their determination to build China and NGC.

After nearly two and a half hours, the joint art performance came to an end with the song of ‘Singing in Praise of Our Motherland’ and ‘The Song of NGC’. We are fully persuaded that the people from NGC will walk hand in hand towards a brighter future not only for our great motherland but also for our company, NGC.
