Geared for a Better Future

On the morning of April 17th, the 2010 CHSTE Mountain Climbing Competition started from the big lawn before the Liuhui Pavilion in Dr. Sun Yatsen’s Mausoleum in bright sunshine and cosy spring wind. The 867 participants from different departments of all subsidiaries in the group, the nearly one hundred service staffs and all cheering groups enthusiastically took part in the game. On the winding roads along the Purple Mountain, figures in blue uniforms could be seen everywhere, overtaking one another and lending a helping hand whenever necessary.

After an intense competition, finally the first fifteen places went to fifteen competing teams including Team 1 of No. 2 Workshop of High Speed Company, Team 1 of No. 1 Workshop of High Speed Company, No. 3 Workshop of High Speed Company. The top 80 winners of the men’s group included Zhong Zhaolei, Huang Jirong, Xu Zhongqi, etc. The top 18 winners of the women’s group include Li Xiaofang, Chiyu, Jing Xiulian, etc.

This is the third year of the annual competition of mountain climbing, which has become a traditional event in NGC’s cultural activities. The mountain climbing activity enhances the mental and physical health of our empolyees and advocates teamwork. It has fully showed our bravery from climbing the summit and given us determination for our company’s image and values to be in first place, NGC is stepping towards new heights to sound the bell to stimulate the beat of the drums!
