In order to carry forward the Chinese traditional virtues of respecting, caring and helping the elderly, on 25 July, 2010, the young volunteers from No. 5 factory of Nanjing High Accurate Company came to visit the old people in Nanjing Social Welfare Home, and sent them the electric fans, summer sleeping mats, I-Go, Chinese chess and so on. The volunteers spent a happy day with them in playing I-Go and chess, chatting with them.
The love activity of the volunteers was warmly welcomed by the elders of the welfare, making them feel the warmth from the society. Certificate of honor was awarded to No. 5 Factory of Nanjing High Accurate Company by Nanjing Social Welfare Home.
Those volunteers expressed that they would visit the elders frequently and help them with their biggest efforts in future, so as to make their contribution to social harmony and fully realize their own value of life.
