Geared for a Better Future

The 1st bench work skill contest was held by Nanjing High Accurate Company and Ningjia Company on April 8. The purpose of this contest is to reflect the professional skills of the workers, inspire their material spirit and vigour, and to make a good situation of “absorbing technology and improving skill learning”, and to train more talents for the better development of the company. The drawings and work pieces are provided by the technical departments, the judge group was built up by the specialists from the inspection department. To represent the “publicity, fair and justice” of the contest, the youth league and HR were full-trip followed up.

The contest item is the flat sheet machining. The competitors were requested to finish the drawing reading, marking, drilling, counter boring, reaming etc within 120 minutes. Through the fierce competition, Mr. Jiang Guoting from Fifth factory of Nanjing High Accurate Company won the first prize, and Mr. Shao Liqiao, and Qing Chunhui were ranked as second and third. Mr. Geng Limeng, the director of Fifth factory addressed a speech and awarded the prizes to the winners.

The competitors all performed very well during the contest, and revealed their spirits of learning, investigation and improvement. This activity is a good excitation for the workers’ work enthusiasm and form a good atmosphere of learning, supporting and improving.
