On November 18, 2010, the new product production appraisal conference, presided by Jiangsu Economical& Information Technology Commission and Nanjing Economical& Information Technology Commission was successfully held. The experts in the meeting reached a consensus that two brand new products - main gearbox of crop and dividing shear and main transmission gearbox of non-ferrous metal single stand hot-rolling reach the leading level in China, and the performance of complete machines achieve the advanced international level of the similar products.
Main gearbox of crop & dividing shear is the core equipment of rolling-cut shear in thick plate production line, and the belt connecting the electric motor and shear and is the key equipment of trajectory control, speed fluctuation and shearing force supply. Main transmission gearbox of non-ferrous single stand hot rolling is the core equipment of hot rolling plate production line, the belt connecting the electric motor and rolling mill, and the key equipment of the large torque supply, speed fluctuation and RPM adjustment.
The successful development of these two products is a significant step for the home-made metallurgical equipment, which breaks up the foreign monopoly in this area, and is also a great save of cost for domestic steel mill; in addition, it contributes to save the foreign exchange for the country, and certainly will have a very good market prospect.
