(Chennai, India) On December 5th 2016, NGC India launched an opening ceremony of its subsidiary company with sales, engineering and service functions in Kilkattalai, Chennai (India), indicating NGC’s entry into the Indian market.

To mark this significant moment, Dr.-Ing. Gou Jianhui (as Managing Director & President of NGC Gears), Mr. Daniel Lim (as President of NGC Asia Pacific and Managing Director of NGC Transmission India) and Mr. Rethinakumar (as President of NGC Transmission India), announced the official opening of NGC Transmission India Pvt Ltd with a ribbon cutting ceremony and the lighting up of the Kuthuvillaku Lamp to signify the beginning of the special occasion which was celebrated with employees of the Indian and the Asia Pacific team along with the customers， partners and other distinguished guests.

Light up of the Kuthuvillaku Lamp

Dr. Gou celebrated the opening of NGC Transmission India and thanked for the supports from the customers, business partners and India authorities. He said “India country is now on the express way of the economic development and especially in the areas of renewable energy and infrastructure, and already gained the respectable achievement since years. NGC is committed to the India market and Indian business partners to involve and support this great effort. The establishment of NGC India will be the start of a long win-win cooperation between NGC and her Indian partners and the local communities”.
