      The sea trials and 90-meter whole journey elevating of the platform elevating gearbox equipped for the 90-meter self-elevating platform produced by NGC was successfully performed. The shafting for this system is a total of 39 meters in length, with one 25-meter high speed shaft system, one gearbox and one controllable pitch propeller, and the R & D of the whole system was done in house in December.

      The largest lateral thrusters in China, powered at 3000HP with a blade diameter of 2750mm, passes certification by the classification society, the ship owner, representatives of the ship yard and marine experts.

      On June 2, the construction work for the 400 mu (roughly 267,000 square meters) new facility of Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd, our new wind power gearboxes manufacturing base, begins on Houjiao Road at the Jiangning Science Park.


    • 2007

      In November, the Company’s marine gearboxes R&D and manufacturing base, Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd., is set up and put into production in the Nanjing Jiangning Shangfang Industrial Park, becoming our new economic growth point.


      In August, Ningjiang moves to its new plant located in the Jiangning Shangfang Industrial Park and is formally renamed as the Nanjing Gaote Gearbox Manufacturing Company, becoming the R&D and manufacturing base for general gearbox products.


      On July 4, the Company is successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with the stock code 0658.


      The Company’s welding factory receives marine product shop approval of several classification societies such as the China Classification Society (CCS), Lloyd’s Register of Shipping (LR), Germanischer Lloyd (GL) and Bureau Veritas (BV).


      On March 15, the Company’s wind power gearboxes rough machining base, Nanjing Ninghongjian Machinery Co., Ltd., is established.


      The Company passes the BV marine products factory certification by Bureau Veritas.


      The Company passes ISO14001:2004 environmental system certification.

      China High Speed Transmission Equipment Group Co., Ltd. makes a return on investment equity in Nanjing High Accurate Drive Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd., and Nanjing High Accurate Drive Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd. becomes a wholly foreign-owned enterprise.

      The Company is successfully included into the international purchasing chain of GE America.


      Shareholders register and establish China High Speed Transmission Equipment Group Co., Ltd. in the Cayman Islands.


      The Company is renamed as Nanjing High Accurate Drive Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd.

      On July 8, the Company’s wind power gearboxes R&D and manufacturing base, Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd, is established in the Nanjing Jiangning Economic Development Zone, marking our entry into the fast lane.

      In August, Nanjing High-Speed Gearboxes Factory (NHSGF) is restructured into a stock company under the name of Nanjing High Speed & Accurate Gear Co., Ltd.

      The market share of our metallurgy, power generation and building material gearboxes ranks first in the domestic market for similar products in Nanjing.

      The Factory passes ISO9000 quality certification.

      The complete set of BNS 200,000-ton bar mill gearboxes are exported to Thailand and 2500KW mill cement mill gearboxes are exported to the Philippines, not only ending the history of zero Chinese exported gearbox, but also improving the company’s reputation in the international market.

      With the approval of the Trademark Office of Jiangsu Province, the Factory registers "NGC" as the trademark for its products.


    • 1991

      17 sets of gearboxes for a 300,000-ton alloy bar rolling mill production line in the Shanghai No. 5 Steel Factory are installed and put into use. The quality of the gearboxes are certified at the internationally advanced level in the late 1980s, setting a precedent for domestic gearboxes used in sets on the bar mill production line and domestic steel production line.


    • 1989

      NHSGF successfully produces a 36,000 kW gas turbine load gearbox, the largest domestic gearbox at the time.


    • 1985

      NHSGF provides over 400 sets of screw elevators and gearboxes for Baosteel’s 140 tube rolling project. The products are well accepted by German experts and are included as part of the product standards for the national heavy machinery industry.


    • 1984

      The large-scale high precision synchronous tracking gear device produced by the Company for the 2.16m telescope reaches internationally advanced level, and its quality indicators are better than those of similar products produced by Magg from Switzerland, with a periodic error of only 0.36 arcsec. This product wins first place in the Scientific and Technical Awards of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.


      NHSGF provides the A701-6 High-speed gearboxes (40,000 r/min) for China's first geostationary satellite and ground radar stations, winning accolades and awards from the CPC Central Committee, State Council, Central Military Commission and Ministry of Machinery Industry.

      NHSGF successfully trial produces the High-speed gearboxes used in 23,000 KW gas turbines, accessory gearboxes and planetary gear increasers used in 6000 cubic meter oxygen generators, all of which have reached design specifications for imported prototypes.


    • 1976

      Nanjing Machine Tool Repair Factory is renamed as the Nanjing High-Speed Gearboxes Factory (NHSGF).
