On August 30, 2016, Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission organized experts to hold a new product evaluation meeting of NGC Gears in Ningbo. Evaluations were conducted on three products that had been developed independently by NGC, namely, the GYM23P2NX large high-pressure rolling machine gearbox, ESP RZ-F9 hot-rolled plate rotary cutting gearbox, and ZTP3650-152 planetary reduction drive for the main transmission of pressers.
GYM23P2NX large high-pressure rolling machine gearbox – with the greatest bearing capacity in the industry
High-pressure rolling machines are widely applied for powder grinding in the cement industry. Compared with traditional grinding equipment, high-pressure rolling machines can significantly reduce energy consumption and improve grinding output. The rolling machine gearbox is a core driving part in high-pressure rolling machines. The GYM23P2NX large high-pressure rolling machine gearbox, which is researched and developed by NGC, is applied to the cement production line with a production output of 5,000 t/d. With the maximum bearing torque being 2,300 kN•m, such a rolling machine gearbox has the greatest bearing capacity in the industry.
Due to very harsh working conditions of a high-pressure rolling machine, the strong reliability of a gearbox is required for the rolling machine system. The GYM23P2NX large high-pressure rolling machine gearbox, which is researched and developed by NGC, is a planetary combined gearbox. Such a gearbox is optimized and improved in its structure, processing, materials, and other aspects. For example, the floating multidimensional mechanism for uniform loading and other measures are adopted in the planetary gearbox system. Thus, it provides a more effective guarantee so that the gearbox can safely and steadily run in an impact-loading and dusty environment that requires continuous operation while ensuring better subsequent repair and maintenance.
The rolling machine gearbox, which is researched and developed by NGC, is recognized as a hi-tech product in Jiangsu Province, scientific and technological contributor in Nanjing City, and a standard-compliant product in the domestic building materials and machinery market. Nowadays, about 1,000 rolling machine gearboxes, which are highly recognized by users, steadily operate in China, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Europe, etc.
ESP RZ-F9 hot-rolled plate rotary cutting gearbox – suitable for various production lines of thin slabs
ESP refers to a technology for continuously casting and rolling thin (medium) slabs, which is used for hot rolled strips. Its processing assists the finishing mill group in achieving endless rolling. The whole production line is compact with an overall length of only about 180 m. Such production line enjoys such advantages as low energy consumption, high quality, and high yield. The rotary cutting gearbox is a key piece of equipment in the ESP production line. The ESP RZ-F9 hot-rolled plate rotary cutting gearbox developed by NGC can instantly provide a great shearing force with its external flywheel unit. Designed for the gearbox, the turning gear satisfies requirements for adjusting the cutting position of the blade. Pressers are key pieces of equipment for sugar juice extraction in a sugar plant. Upon hearing the summary of trial production, technical summary, and other reports on the abovementioned three products, the Evaluation Commission reviewed inspection reports, novelty search reports, and other technical documents, and investigated the production sites. As the Evaluation Commission concluded after queries and discussions, the GYM23P2NX large high-pressure rolling machine gearbox achieves an advanced domestic and international level, while both the ESP RZ-F9 hot-rolled plate rotary cutting gearbox and ZTP3650-152 planetary reduction drive for the main transmission of pressers reach an advanced level domestically.
