Nanjing High Speed & Accurate Gear (Group) Co., Ltd. (NGC), a subsidiary of NGC Gears, recently achieved API Spec Q1 Quality Management System Certification (certificate number: Q1-2354) issued by the American Petroleum Institute (API). Such certification implies that NGC has established quality management systems compliant with API Spec Q1 (9th) for design, processing and service of high-speed gearboxes.
The API is an important industrial standard and certification organization for the global petroleum and petrochemical industry. API specifications have been already widely adopted across the world for its advancement, generality and security as well as great influence in petroleum industry of the USA. As NGC achieved API Spec Q1 quality management system certificate, the barriers preventing NGC from accessing the international market of petroleum industry have now been removed.
Back in the 1970s, the high-speed gearboxes produced by NGC had already achieved the design indexes of imported prototypes. Over the subsequent 20 years, NGC created multiple important records in the industry of China, and made outstanding contribution to the important national projects of China. In the fields of power generation, metallurgy, petrochemistry, oil and gas, and scientific research, NGC has played and will continue to play an important role. The typical applications of NGC products include steam turbines, gas power generation, blast blower, compressors, centrifugal fans and axial flow fans, high and low pressure pumps and other supporting gearboxes of machines.
